Baseball and Softball Seasons Get Underway

Jason Hennessey (#20) tossed 5 scoreless innings in an eventual 5-1 loss to Saugus.

The Crimson Tide Baseball and Softball seasons are officially underway with both teams opening the year against Saugus on Monday. The boys played at home at Glendale Park while the Lady Tide traveled to Saugus.

Following 5 scoreless innings from the Crimson, The boys eventually fell, 5-1, after Saugus broke-open the game with three runs in the sixth inning.

The Lady Tide also lost their season-opener, 5-3, after Saugus earned four runs behind three errors committed by the Crimson defense.

Both teams will get back to action against Gloucester on Wednesday, April 11, with the girls playing their first home game at 4PM. Friday, April 13, the boys will return home for a tilt with Winchester at 4PM as the girls visit Winchester to wrap-up a three- game week.
