Linda Lee Angiolillo has been appointed by a unanimous vote of the City Council to serve for the next three years as the Executive Director of the Election Commission.
Angiolillo has served for the past three months as the Executive Director, replacing longtime Elections official Maureen DiPierro.
City Clerk Sergio Cornelio delivered the oath of office to Angiolillo after her confirmation by the City Council.
She will be overseeing an office responsible for conducting city elections, which should be made easier by the introduction of all new voting machines in all the wards and precincts.
