Former School Superintendent Frederick F. Forestiere’s long awaited trial for alleged acts of sexual harassment began in Malden District Court Monday morning.
Following jury selection, witnesses were called and the trial was underway.
The trial continued Tuesday.
According to a report in the Boston Globe, Forestiere’s attorney was quoted as saying the charges against him are untrue and that this will be proven during the trial.
At least one witness testifying against Forestiere interviewed by the Globe reported being repeatedly sexually harassed by the former superintendent of schools.
A six member jury has been impaneled.
